Drinks

  • drink normal amounts during the day, but less before bed
  • cut down on tea, coffee, fizzy drinks and alcohol

At night

Get up slowly, and use a night light to avoid falls.

Going out

Plan toilet stops. A Radar key opens thousands of accessible toilets. See accessible toilets.

Keep an eye on changes

See a GP if your symptoms get worse, you see blood in your pee, or you have pain.

Support

Prostate Cancer UK has specialist nurses who can answer questions about all prostate problems, not just cancer.
