Juniper Health is free to use. This page explains, honestly, how we pay for it and how we make sure money never affects what we write.
Donations
Some people who find our guides helpful choose to support us with a donation.
Affiliate links
On some pages we suggest everyday aids, such as a perching stool or a heat pad, that people with a condition often find useful. Some of these are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the shop pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
We always make affiliate links clear:
- every affiliate item is marked "Ad"
- we explain what affiliate links are next to them
- we never put affiliate links in our self-check results
- we never claim that a product treats or cures a condition
What we never do
- We never let payments change our guidance or self-check results.
- We never sell or share your personal information.
- We never charge for our guides or self-checks.
- We never take payment to recommend benefit claim companies.
Adverts
We do not show adverts at the moment. If we ever do, we will keep them away from our self-checks, label them clearly, and ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used.
The rules we follow
We follow the UK Advertising Codes (the CAP Code) and consumer protection law, including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, which require paid links to be clearly labelled.
